OUR APPROACH

At Tiny Tots Lacrosse, boys & girls learn the fundamentals of Lacrosse and:

  • Build Confidence

  • Improve fine motor skills

  • Enhance hand:eye coordination

  • Understand the value of sharing

  • Learn to follow rules and take turns

And most importantly... have FUN in a relaxed, safe environment.

Tiny Tots Lacrosse works with childcare centers, pre-schools and recreational programs to bring the game of Lacrosse to the boys and girls of Long Island.

ABOUT US

Hi, I'm Coach Greg, the founder of Tiny Tots Lacrosse.  I am a former teacher and have been a Lacrosse player and coach my whole life. And this is the inspiration for Tiny Tots Lacrosse - one of the 3 loves of my life along with my wife and daughter - my son Connor!

​When Connor started pre-school I wanted him to have the same experiences I did with the sport I love. I wanted him to enjoy everything that comes with Lacrosse - the joy of learning, the teamwork, the discipline, the FUN!

But I couldn't find a program that offered what he needed:

  • a soft, gentle introduction to the sport

  • a team that didn't require he wear all the heavy and uncomfortable equipment

  • a curriculum truly suited to a pre-schooler

  • an approach that comes from a place of caring from a kind, compassionate Coach who understands the mindset of a pre-schooler

​So, I took all the things I learned as a teacher and coach and created games and age-appropriate activities that helped him learn, have fun and come back for more.

We worked one-on-one together for years until the time was right for him to join an organized team. And when he did, he was immediately one of the strongest players on every field he stepped on to. Coaches in clinics we went to could not believe his talent.

​The methodology I have developed works. And I am truly, truly passionate about sharing it with other pre-schoolers to help them grow into terrific young athletes and kind, caring and polite Kindergartners.
